Born in Cascina (Pisa) in 1970, he attended the State Art School of Pisa, the Academy of Fine Art in Florence and the Arts Faculty of Pisa University.

He began his professional activity in 1993.

In 1997 he executed replicas of some bronze sculptures, from original designs for the restoration of Alexandrovsky Hall in the Kremlin in Moscow.

Beetwen the end of 1998 and the beginning of 1999 he realized all the sculptures and a lot of the decorations of the Museo del Rinascimento – Museo delle Cere (Renaissance Museum and Waxworks) in Florence.

From 1999 to 2001 he collaborated whith Folon and Kabacov in different work

Since 2001 he has been working as a scene-designer producing sculptures, theatre sets and stage designs in Italy and abroad, working whith such important directors as Armande Delcampe, Mario Monicelli, Giorgio Albertazzi, Beppe Menegatti, Antonio Calenda, Quirino Conti.

From 2003 he collaborate whit Carla Fracci.

Since 1994 he has been working for several Tuscan art fundries in order to realize his own works but also to create and take care of the moulds and different phases of casting on behalf of world-famous artists.

Since 2006 he has been a member of the List of professional artists for assigning appointments in the creation of work of art in Rome (Del. G. C. n. 150 on April 5th 2006, Department VI  Territorial Programming and Planing Polices- Rome. Since

2008 he has been teaching at the Chair of Ornamental Plastic Art at the Accademy of Fine Arts in Florence.
